I have a permanent outdoor shower with a mixer. The Camplux F10 has higher BTU and flow rate compared to the competition at this price bracket, and thus does not have the back-pressure problems from the mixer back to the heater. The drain screw is a bit awkward to undo, so I have added an M8 (1mm thread) bolt with a hand-nut on the end to make it much easier to undo and replace. Brass, rather than plastic hose fittings would have have been better. But overall, I am very happy with it, as it provides ample hot water on-demand.

The unit itself works perfectly. Simple and easy to use. Quickly reaches 43-45 degrees C with input water at 14 degrees. And at a fast flow rate.
My only issue was the order process. They say same day shipping, but it didnāt ship for almost a month. With no replies or information that there are any delays. It felt like it was a scam. Would strongly recommend customer service improvements.

The battery compartment has a major flaw, it keeps dropping down and severing power during operation which in turn loses water heatingā¦ yes a cold shower! Fixed with a bit of duct tape.

Family of 6, we needed hot water for showers and kitchen sink while the Reno is going on. It was set up with bbq gas bottle and unit outside under a little weather cover outside and hose into the old bathroom. It is hot! Pipe to kitchen sink is 8meters away from unit and still delivers super hot water! Works great! Family is happy. Would buy again!

Great experience overall! Super fast shipping and the product is awesome. This portable hot water unit works perfectly ā easy to use, efficient, and exactly what I needed. Highly recommend! Uses are mainly horse hot wash and human hot wash. Great pressure. I did have to extend the hose that goes from the unit itself to the shower rose for ease of use for horse washing. I am using this product for far beyond what it was meant for . I run it full bore at times for 8+ hours in a day to heat a pool. Great product so far. I would hazard to say if you are using as intended it may well last you a lifetime. A camp shower I assume would typically run for 10 minutes +\- at a time. In a few months I have run it for hundreds of hours. I truely thought it would only last a short while getting me through the cold part of the season. If it burnt out tomorrow I already got my moneyās worth. I would add my cousin bought one and is using it for the same purpose and is sold as well. I would highly recommend this product.

We wanted a hot water heater that wouldnāt run cold so we took a look at on demand hot water heater and found this one my wife can be running the sink while Iām taking a shower and never fails to deliver on demand hot water there is no timer on it witch is good I know some people were worried about it in the comments but I can take a 30min to an hour shower and it be perfectly fine itās a matter of pressure and temp adjustment to get it just right just donāt recommend cranking it up all the way it gets pretty hot works well while itās raining also would definitely recommend to buy for a tiny house or regular house

This unit has exceeded expectations. It heats the shower water very well, and has enough heating power to make central Texas well water too hot for a shower. The flow and heat controls manage the temperature effectively. Service was good and prompt when we needed it. It is not freeze-tolerant, so note the instructions about opening the drain plug before any freezing temps come your way. The readout is in degrees Celsius, but even if you're accustomed to Fahrenheit, you can quickly learn what range of temps feels right. The shower spray is fine, so the water cools quickly as it passes through the air. That means one of the temperature adjustment options is how close you stand to the shower head. The exhaust vent does not get very hot after a 10-minute shower, indicating that the heat transfer from flame to the water is rather good.

Used this as the heater component for my above ground pool. I have a outdoor pool (about 5000 gallons). PVC from the pool thru a pump into the heater and back into the pool. I have the pump on a continuous timer, 10 minutes on then 3 minutes off. I get about 3-4 degrees temperature rise per hour and a 3 hour run uses about 7 lbs of propane. During the summer I was only running it about an hour to bring the water to 30 degrees on the top and about 27 at the bottom. This has been a great heater for this. Water comes in 20s and exits about 50. Couldnāt be happier.

Received my heater a few weeks ago and have been using it for an outdoor shower. It's amazing! I connected it to my water through regular hoses and the pressure is great, the same as a normal shower.
The only comment I have so far is that the shower head extension that came with this system didn't seem water tight. I had connected it at first for "proof of concept" and it leaked a ton. Luckily I already had my own shower head setup which is water tight, otherwise I would have been out of luck.

I use this for my hot tub water heater. Seems to work pretty well other than if your incoming water is too hot, it will choke down the water feed and shut the unit down. It hasnāt been like other similar units that shut off after 15 minutes so thatās good. If youāre using for a camp shower, thatās a very good thing. I would rate this at the top of the camping water heater units.

I got this to replace a unit from another company purchased last year with a one-month warranty. It worked fine last year, and again when I pulled it out of winter storage this year... but only once, then it completely quit. This one has a one-year warranty, so maybe it's better. It's working no bad, and I must give it credit for producing hotter water than the old unit. That one was highly variable in the amount of heat it put out, and sometimes couldn't quite reach the temperature I like for a shower. This Camplux unit easily hits the temperature I like (44 degrees C, according to its display), and will go much hotter. The only fault I can identify so far is the sensitivity of the settings. The smallest change in the control dials will result in a big change in temperature. On the plus side, it is very repeatable from shower to shower, so doesn't require a lot of fiddling once you get it set the way you like it.
It's easy to hang on a wall and simple to operate. I just hope this one lasts.

I made a wash rack in my barn and this was the cherry on top of the whole thing. I have horse shows very early in the year when the snow is still flying. It makes bathing a dirty horse so much nicer. I have an old smaller version in my cabin with a 12v pump that runs my shower. I love my Camplux water heaters both!!

This is perfect for those who want a hot shower while camping or for off-grid like we are.
source water determines how hot the shower will be. For instance, we use rain-water-catchment. On a hot day the wate is already fairly warm so the heater makes it even hotter. We have learned to not use the heater on warm days, but we still enjoy a very comfortable showerānot like before.
Now, I don't know why I waited so long to take the plunge.
I would recommend this product to anyone.
